Abstract

This study examines the influence of the economic, environmental, and sociocultural dimensions of sustainable tourism on revisit intention at Gunung Parung, an emerging nature-based destination within the Nusantara Capital City (IKN) delineation zone, including the environmental dimension's contribution to Memorable Tourism Experience (MTE) and the moderating roles of digital technology and government support in this relationship. Using a quantitative explanatory design with PLS-SEM analysis of 346 domestic tourists, the study found that the environmental aspect significantly predicts MTE, while all three dimensions significantly affect revisit intention. MTE positively influences revisit intention and partially mediates the environmental-to-revisit intention relationship. Government support negatively moderates the environmental-to-MTE relationship, revealing an image-reality gap phenomenon, whereas digital technology shows no significant moderating effect. These findings confirm the centrality of environmental quality to memory formation and the need to align promotion with destination readiness.
