Abstract

This study explores emerging trends in governance for sustainability and rural development using a bibliometric approach. By analyzing publications from 2020 to 2024, the research identifies key themes such as decentralization, community empowerment, and resource management in rural contexts. The study reveals that a community-based approach and active local government involvement are vital to sustainable rural development. The findings highlight the importance of integrated governance strategies and evidence-based policy-making to address rural challenges. The analysis further contributes to enhancing rural governance frameworks in Indonesia and offers recommendations for global policy development.
